Trees is a parental woody plant, it most often has many secondary branches supports clear of the ground on a single. Trees are important necessary and valuable for our very existence. It would not be too hard to believe that without trees human beings cannot exist on this beautiful planet earth.
All tree’s need at least four things to live, sunlight, water, soil and air.
Importance of tree
(1) Tree’s clean the soil phytoremediation for the absorption of Dangerous chemicals and others pollutant that have entered the soil. Tree’s can either store harmful pollutants or actually change the pollutant into less harmful forms.
(2) Tree’s are carbon sinks: To produce food a tree absorb and lock away carbondioxide in the wood, roots, and leaves. A tree is a carbon storage area or a sink that can lock up carbon.
(3) Tree’s fight soil erosion: Tree’s conserve rainwater and reduce water runoff and sediment deposit after storms.
(4) Tree’s provide oxygen: A mature leafy tree produce as much oxygen in a season as about 10 people inhale in a year. Forest also act as a giant filter that clean the air we breath.
(5) Tree’s acts as windbreaks: During the wind and cold seasons trees located on the windward side act as wind break. A reduction in wind can also reduce the drying effect in soil and vegetations, it helps to keep our top soil.
(6) Trees serve as shade and cool: Shade result in cool.
(7) Tree’s clean the air: Trees removes the air by pollution by lowering air temperature through respiration and by retaining particulation.
