About Me

Dr. U.D. Chima: Port Harcourt, Rivers, Nigeria; Dr. U.D. Chima is a Lecturer and Researcher at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. He holds a Ph.D degree in Forest Ecology and Conservation. His areas of research interest include land use change/forest ecosystem dynamics, conservation/quantitative ecology, forest biodiversity conservation and agroforestry. He is a member of several professional associations including the Global Association of Online Foresters (GAOF), Society for Conservation Biology (SCB), and Forestry Association of Nigeria (FAN). Dr. Chima is the author of - Career Prospects in Forestry and Wildlife Management, and a member of the Editorial Team of the International Journal of Biodiversity and Conservation. He has over forty publications including articles in peer-reviewed Learned Journals,Conference Proceedings and Book Chapters. He is happily married to Mrs. Veronica Onyemowo Chima, and the marriage is blessed with two children - Amarachi Angel Chima and Onyinyechi Christabel Chima.
